WHAT ON EARTH IS DECIEM?

Known as "The Abnormal Beauty Company", DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science-first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. He developed DECIEM to be a happy family (of people and beauty brands), rooted in kindness, creativity, diversity, and respect, alongside Co-Founder Nicola Kilner.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a flexible customer service-oriented

Sales Assistant

, known in Deciem as Store Associate to join our lovely team in Westfield White City to deliver memorable experiences to our customers <3


This is a 22.5

-hour-a-week

position on a part-time basis (3 Days). Experience in the Retail, and

luxury industry

is highly desirable and ideally, within the Fragrance,

Beauty

, Fashion, and Luxury Goods sectors. 6-month contract

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

Welcome every customer like a friend with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a warm smile that reflects DECIEM's values. You'll help create a space that's fun, positive, and full of good energy (for both our team and our customers!).
Truly listen and connect understand customer needs and share thoughtful product recommendations, backed by the deep knowledge you'll gain through our brand training. Deliver an unforgettable DECIEM experience ? provide exceptional, educational service that goes beyond the surface, making beauty feel approachable, empowering, and joyful.
Be a voice of knowledge Stay in the loop with everything from product launches and campaigns to company updates, so you can keep our community informed and inspired.
Support daily operations with heart and hustle from opening and closing to keeping health and safety standards high, you'll be a key part of what keeps the store running smoothly.
Own the customer journey Whether it's resolving an issue or handling feedback, you'll turn challenges into opportunities to build trust and loyalty.
Bring our space to life visually help maintain merchandising standards that reflect our brand's unique aesthetic, ensuring displays are beautiful, clean, and inviting.
Handle transactions like a pro manage the POS, refunds, and payments with accuracy and efficiency, all while keeping the customer experience front and center.
Keep things organized and compliant Whether it's restocking, inventory counts, or following policies and procedures, your attention to detail helps keep the counter in top form.
Make an impact through KPIs Understand how your individual contributions (from customer interactions to sales goals) support the team's success..

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

Experience in the Retail, and luxury industry is highly desirable and ideally, within the Fragrance, Beauty, Fashion, and Luxury Goods sectors. Comfortable in engaging customers and applying products to the customer while providing consultations Ability to multi-task, while providing professional and outstanding customer service Desire to spread brand awareness<3 Effective time management and communication skills.
