to manage the flow of goods in and out of our facility. This is a hands-on role that involves receiving, checking, storing, and dispatching goods while maintaining accurate records and ensuring all materials are handled efficiently and safely.
The role is fluid and may involve supporting various areas of the warehouse or dispatch operations depending on business needs. Flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are essential.
Duties
Receive, inspect, and record all incoming deliveries
Unload goods safely and store them in the appropriate locations
Check incoming goods against delivery notes and report any discrepancies
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch accurately and efficiently
Organise and label stock to maintain clear and tidy storage areas
Coordinate with couriers and transport companies for outgoing shipments
Complete dispatch paperwork and update inventory systems as needed
Maintain accurate stock records and carry out regular stock checks
Ensure all goods handling follows health and safety procedures
Assist with general warehouse tasks and support other departments when required
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts -- if licensed)
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments
Requirements
Experience in a warehouse or dispatch role (preferred)
Familiar with goods in/goods out processes
Physically fit and able to lift/move stock
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills
Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
Able to work well alone or in a team
Flexible and willing to assist in various tasks
Forklift license (a bonus, but not essential)
