We are looking for a reliable, organised, and hands-on Store Manager to join our busy window and door company. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the yard and store area, ensuring materials are received, stored, and issued efficiently to support our fitting teams.
Key responsibilities:
Unloading and arranging window and door frames in the yard and storage areas.
Unloading and arranging double glazed units safely and securely.
Ordering, receiving and maintaining stock of fitting materials and consumables.
Preparing and organising fitters, stock and orders ready for collection or delivery.
liaising with fitters to ensure all required parts and materials are available on time.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard and warehouse environment.
Managing and booking skips, ensuring timely replacements and correct waste disposal.
Delivering materials to sites as required (full driving license essential)
Carrying out basic yard maintenance and supporting other departments when needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a store, warehouse or trade counter role. (Preferably in the window, door or construction industry)
Full UK driving license is essential!
Physically fit and able to handle manual work.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Forklift license desirable (not essential)
