This is a rare opportunity to join this sustainable fashion brand in their Cambridge store.

As the Store Manager, you will be fully responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily store operations. Your role entails using your initiative to uphold the brand's performance and cultural standards, efficiently managing stock and space to optimise sales and profitability, and ensuring adherence to the brand's visual guidelines. Additionally, maintaining a smooth and effective back-of-house operation to support store performance will be crucial. You are also tasked with embodying the brand's culture through your behaviour, while also fostering a team environment that meets the brand's high standards.

Responsibilities:



Take full responsibility for your store's operations and ensure accountability for all functions. Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for sales, payroll, and stock management, while effectively managing costs within established budgets. Uphold the brand's high standards of customer service both personally and by developing your team. Maintain the brand's brand visual expectations utilising all available resources. Strategically manage your stock to achieve optimal sales performance and visually appealing presentation, providing detailed feedback on stock performance to relevant stakeholders. Implement an efficient back-of-house operation that supports store needs and enhances trading results securely. Recruit and nurture a skilled team capable of meeting the brand's expectations through comprehensive training and guidance, fostering opportunities for growth and succession. Continuously seek personal development and training to enhance performance. Prioritise the creation of a safe and healthy work environment through rigorous risk assessment and high standards of housekeeping. Foster open communication and feedback loops with key functions at Head Office to optimise store performance. As a Brand Ambassador, consistently represent the brand visually and behaviourally, and instil the same values in your team.

The person:



Previous fashion or lifestyle store management experience is essential Ability to achieve targets and objectives while delivering excellent customer service within agreed deadlines. Strong management skills, ensuring colleagues understand and fulfil their responsibilities, effectively manage tasks, and respond to objectives to achieve business goals. A strong leader who can motivate and leverage the diverse qualities of the team to enhance overall effectiveness. An excellent organiser who will skilfully schedule tasks, overcome obstacles, and adjust plans as needed, ensuring optimal staffing levels. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels. Previous experience in training, coaching, and developing colleagues while addressing performance issues and managing conflicts constructively. Take ownership of recruitment and selection processes.
