Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies. Develop and implement effective sales management techniques to meet or exceed store targets. Foster a customer-centric culture by ensuring all staff provide excellent service and maintain high standards. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills in areas such as product knowledge and customer engagement. Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting to ensure smooth operations. Maintain an organised store layout that promotes effective merchandising and enhances the customer shopping experience. Utilise time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles is essential. Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team management and development. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in multilingual or bilingual communication being advantageous. Demonstrated experience in sales management with a track record of meeting targets. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with merchandising principles and practices to enhance product presentation. Administrative experience is preferred, including proficiency in relevant software applications. Ability to maintain professionalism through phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions.
