Role Overview:
We are seeking a Branch Manager to oversee the operations of our self-storage facility. In this store-based role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving the growth of our business. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering the high standards that our customers expect from us.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Branch Manager, you will manage the daily operations of the facility, ensuring that it is clean, secure, and well-maintained. You will provide outstanding customer service by addressing enquiries promptly, assisting with storage needs, and conducting facility tours to showcase available options. Your role will also involve implementing security practices to protect customer belongings and ensure the safety of the facility.
In addition to operational tasks, you will handle the administrative aspects of the business. This includes managing the leasing process, handling rental agreements, renewals, and fee collections, as well as maintaining accurate records and customer information. You will work closely with the management team to develop and execute strategies to boost occupancy and achieve revenue targets. Engaging with the local community and supporting marketing campaigns to enhance our visibility and attract new customers is also part of your responsibilities.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in a management role, ideally within the self-storage or retail sector. Strong leadership and organisational skills are essential, as you will be responsible for managing the facility and your team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build rapport with customers and collaborate effectively with the team. Training will be provided so if you're not too familiar with storage but have a can do attitude we will give you the tools to be successful.
You should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and fostering business growth. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary, as is the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, is required to meet customer needs and support the facility's operations.
