We are looking for a full time Store Manager within our Highbridge convenience store.

Salary

: 35,000 - 38,000 DOE

You will provide effective leadership to a of supervisors and customer service assistants to achieve consistently high standards of customer satisfaction and to meet revenue and profitability targets for the store through the delivery of the Society's retail offering.

Candidates must be flexible in their working hours and will be required to cover various shifts including weekends and evenings, contracted to

39 hours per week

working any 5 out of 7 days.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities include:

To be an advocate for co-operative values and principles and to promote and reinforce these within the team. Maintain store operating procedures in line with health and safety regulations, legal compliance, and store standards. Manage attendance and staff rotas to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of staff resources and duty manager cover and to deliver personnel costs within budget. Address absence or punctuality issues in line with Society's disciplinary procedure. Be accountable for the stores annual budget, take part in store audits and be actively part of regular profit and loss financial reviews
In addition to these responsibilities, your line manager will set objectives on a regular basis.

You will have:

at least 12-months experience in a retail manager role have worked in a fast-paced retail environment, ideally food retail hold a personal licence ideally hold a current first aid certificate
