Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our new retail unit in Tooting. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory and organisational skills, with a proven track record in sales management within a retail environment. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your ability to manage a diverse team and maintain high standards will be crucial to the success of our store.

Responsibilities

Lead the store team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Manage daily operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and sales strategies. Implement effective retail sales management strategies to achieve store targets and enhance profitability. Provide exemplary customer service while addressing any customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and phone etiquette. Organise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while optimising labour costs. Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills. Maintain visual merchandising standards to create a delighting shopping experience for customers. Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for upper management as required. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers. A solid understanding of sales management principles and techniques is required. Exceptional interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving common goals.
