About the role?



An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wongs Jewellers for a Store Manager. This is your chance to lead a talented, award-winning team in one of the UK's most prestigious independent jewellers.

You will be at the helm of our new Manchester store - managing a team of outstanding individuals across the sales floor and our in-house goldsmiths.

This is more than a retail management role - you'll be the driving force behind our exquisite in-store experience, operational excellence, and overall commercial performance.

What We're Looking For:



We're looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record of successfully managing a retail team within the jewellery industry or a high-end/luxury environment.

You'll also be:

Highly organised, process-driven, and confident in leading day-to-day operations A natural motivator with a passion for hitting KPIs and sales targets Entrepreneurial and commercially minded - you'll treat the store as if it's your own business Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences Confident in visual merchandising and brand presentation Strategic, analytical, and capable of communicating at all levels Skilled in recruitment, coaching, and developing high-performing teams Social media savvy and comfortable promoting the brand online Well-presented with a polished, professional appearance

Key Responsibilities:



Lead the in-store team to deliver exceptional service and strong commercial results Oversee all aspects of store operations, from team performance to customer experience Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships Champion brand values and uphold showroom presentation standards Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand guidelines Manage stock, store layout, and commercial planning Drive recruitment and development of new and existing staff Promote Wongs online and in-store, leveraging social media to reach new audiences Take ownership of the entire sales process, from enquiry to aftercare Deliver consistent performance against KPIs and sales targets

Experience:

Luxury Sales: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
