We're looking for an experienced and motivated

Store Manager

to launch and lead our new jewellery store at Manchester Arndale. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building high-performing teams, creating unforgettable customer experiences, and taking full ownership of a retail environment from day one.

About the Role

As Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in opening our new location - from recruiting and training a brand-new team to establishing daily operations and setting the tone for our customer-first culture. You'll lead with passion and precision, ensuring sales targets are met, customers feel valued, and your team is inspired to deliver excellence every day.

Key Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and lead a brand-new team of retail professionals. Launch the store successfully, working closely with the leadership team on pre-opening tasks. Drive sales performance through inspiring leadership and on-the-floor coaching. Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximise visual appeal and profitability. Monitor inventory and manage stock levels to ensure availability and minimise waste. Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues with professionalism and care. Maintain high standards in store presentation, cleanliness, and operational compliance. Oversee staff scheduling, payroll submissions, and performance reviews. Report regularly on KPIs, team performance, and store development.

About You

Proven experience in a Store Manager (retail environment essential). Jewellery experience is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, inspire, and develop a brand-new team. Commercially minded with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Passion for customer service with excellent problem-solving skills. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, ever-evolving retail setting. Confident communicator with a warm, approachable style. Proficiency with stock management and retail systems is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
