Store Manager
to join our leadership team and oversee daily operations at our Burnage store.
Position Overview
The
Store Manager
is responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the store, ensuring alignment with company standards for service, quality, and presentation. This role involves staff leadership, operational management, financial oversight, and maintaining compliance with all health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will be a results-driven leader who can balance operational efficiency with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including inventory management, cash control, and staffing
Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance and customer service goals
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and local regulations
Monitor and analyse financial performance, implementing strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets
Maintain high standards of product presentation, cleanliness, and brand consistency
Manage scheduling, recruitment, and performance reviews to support workforce effectiveness
Promote and encourage a high level of customer service amongst employees
Able to provide feedback and reports on a daily basis to your seniors
Requirements and Experience
Minimum 1 year experience in a retail or hospitality management role (dessert, bakery, or cafe industry preferred)
Proven leadership and team development skills
Strong organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and peak trading periods as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
Manchester M19 1AX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
