We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our brand new retail store in Bletchley. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service, ensuring that our team delivers an exceptional shopping experience. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and maintaining store standards while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stock management to optimise product availability. Communicate effectively with team members, providing guidance and support as needed. Implement promotional strategies to increase footfall and enhance sales performance. Conduct regular training sessions to develop staff skills in selling techniques and customer engagement. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Maintain store presentation standards, ensuring a clean and organised shopping environment. Monitor financial performance and prepare reports for upper management as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail management or a similar role is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in phone etiquette. Strong administrative skills, including experience with inventory management systems. Ability to sell effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction. Experience in team management and supervising staff is crucial for this role.
