Hours

Full Time 40-45 hours a week contract (including weekends). Please note that this is a permanent position, and you must be fully flexible to work on a rota/shift basis.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our busy Oxford Store. The store is located within the bustling, historic Covered Market in central Oxford and is our original retail outlet in the UK. The Store manager will be responsible for the daily output of perfectly baked cookies, driving sales, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, managing staff, and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and uphold a clean and organised store. Lead, motivate and manage the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members to maximise performance and engagement Submit petty cash receipts, complete weekly stock counts, and liaise with finance to reconcile any variances in daily takings Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety standards Address and resolve customer enquiries and complaints in a professional manner

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a supervisory role within a retail environment Strong leadership, communication, and organisation skills o Ability to analyse data, make decisions and drive results Knowledge of retail operations including inventory, maintenance, merchandising, and cash management Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
