Job Description

The Store Manager is accountable for the overall performance of the Romford store. This role requires strong leadership, customer service excellence, and retail management skills to ensure smooth daily operations and the delivery of sales and customer experience targets.

You will report to the UK Retail Operations team and work closely with colleagues in HR, Marketing, and Logistics.

Key Responsibilities



? Deliver an engaging and memorable experience to every customer, ensuring service standards reflect the Easy Grab Go brand values.

? Lead the store team to exceed performance metrics including sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

? Use data, reporting, and analytical thinking to identify opportunities, driving sales and optimising store performance.

? Oversee visual presentation, machine layout, stock flow, replenishment, and operational standards across the store.

? Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and fun environment that supports team development and attracts new talent.

? Coordinate, delegate, prioritise, and meet store deadlines while ensuring clear communication and effective follow-up on daily tasks.

? Build a strong team culture by encouraging open communication, feedback, and collaboration.

? Support and train team members in all areas of retail operations including customer service, product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management.

? Oversee the use of POS systems, cash handling, machine token/credit processes, stock replenishment, and seasonal pricing or promotions.

? Uphold Easy Grab Go's policies for health & safety, asset protection, inventory control, and compliance with shopping centre regulations.

Working Hours



? Full-time, 40 hours per week

? Must be available to work weekends and evenings

Candidate Profile



Essential:

? 3-4 years of total retail experience, with at least 1-2 years in a Store Manager or Assistant Manager role.

? Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, empower, and develop a high-performing team.

? Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to connect effectively with customers, team members, and head office partners.

? Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding store KPIs, driving sales, and building customer loyalty.

? Flexibility in work schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when required.

? A genuine passion for retail, customer engagement, and creating fun, memorable experiences for all visitors.

? Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers, staff, and stakeholders.

? A proactive, detail-oriented approach to completing tasks efficiently and ensuring operational excellence.

? Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic reporting tools (MS Office or similar).

? A commitment to representing Easy Grab Go as a proud brand ambassador, embodying our values of fun, inclusivity, and great customer service.
