Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our brand new retail team at the newly opening COTSWOLD DESIGNER OUTLET. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for sales management, ensuring the store operates efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and administrative tasks. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to enhance store performance. Train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance, fostering a positive work environment. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on goals and objectives. Maintain an organised store layout that enhances the shopping experience for customers. Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is essential. Strong sales management skills with a track record of achieving targets. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and development. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficient in administrative duties related to retail operations, including stock control and reporting. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with customers and staff alike.
This role requires 5 days a week in person attendance across weekdays and weekends on a rota basis. As the Store Manager you are responsible for drawing up the rota. Our opening hours range from early mornings to late evenings so you need to be available between these hours. We trade 7 days a week and again, availability is required across all 7 on a rota.
