We're looking for a Stores operative (Logistics) to join our team and help ensure materials are organised, stocked, and available efficiently and safely to tailor to the needs of our production lines, following a Just in Time (JIT) philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain stock levels and order stock through purchasing when required. Monitor factory production and plan material needs accordingly. Maintain cleanliness and safety in work areas. Conduct quality checks on stock and ensure materials meet technical specifications. Support the Site Materials Team Leader with daily material supply. Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth operations. Raise and complete documentation for material movement, using our ERP type system.

About The Role

What We're Looking For

Experience:

Experience in stock and material management. Familiarity with warehouse or factory material handling. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Basic mathematical and IT competence.

Desirable Extras:

Counterbalance Forklift licence. Experience in construction or supply chain environments. Qualifications in stock control or procurement. Ability to work under pressure and meet time-critical KPIs.
