Swan Aluminium Systems are one of the leading manufacturers of aluminium windows and doors based in Swanscombe, Kent. We are now recruiting a

Stores Operative

to join our busy and growing team. Our order books are full, and demand for aluminium glazing systems continues to be strong for many years to come.

Experience in a stores, warehouse, or fabrication environment is ideal, particularly within the aluminium or construction industry. However, full training will be given to the right person with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

Receiving and checking deliveries of aluminium profiles, hardware, and consumables. Accurately recording and storing materials in the correct locations. Issuing materials to fabrication teams in line with production schedules. Monitoring stock levels and assisting with regular stocktakes. Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe stores environment. Supporting purchasing and production teams to keep workflow smooth and efficient. Operating handling equipment safely (training provided if required).

What we're looking for:

Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy individual with good attention to detail. Organised and proactive with a practical, hands-on approach. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills for updating stock systems (training provided). Forklift licence beneficial but not essential. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm (40 hours per week with 30 minutes for lunch)

Pay: 500.00-550.00 per week
