Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Store person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to materials handling, shipping, and receiving. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

Load and unload materials and products from vehicles and deliveries. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Build and assemble kits for shipping, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods. Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and locations. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including checking shipments for accuracy. Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Manage local fleet of vehicles

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not essential. Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is beneficial. Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently. Proficiency in using forklifts; certification is a plus but can be provided if necessary. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent organisational skills with the capability to manage time effectively in a busy environment.

Pay: 24,570.00-29,500.00 per year
