Job Description

To maintain and upkeep the stores, bar areas and internal and external areas, ensuring that all deliveries are accurately accepted and any discrepancies are verified and recorded.
Responsibilities

• To maintain and clean the stores area to Company standards
• To accept deliveries and record any discrepancies with delivery dockets
• To ensure the correct stock levels are maintained on all products
• To carry out product management tasks including putting delivery dockets on to the computerised system
• To prepare for stock takes on a monthly basis
• To aid in stock counts and investigation into any discrepancies in conjunction with Manager for the stocktaking department
• To carry out any light maintenance work as required on the premises
• To maintain security of stores area at all times
• To sort, return and recycle all bottles
• To ensure that a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance is maintained at all times
• Any other duties relevant and related to the post

Educational qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification are essential

Skills and Experience

• A knowledge of various drink products is essential
• Previous bar experience is desirable
• Ideally a minimum of 6 months previous stores experience
• 6 months previous experience with a food and beverage computerised system such as Micros would be preferential.
• Security conscious
• Ability to work on their own as well as part of a team
• With good communication skills, the ideal candidate will be able to approach their work in a methodical and logical manner
