Your Role:
Provide comprehensive stores support for Tidworth & Bulford Estates Store covering sourcing, selection and purchase of goods to ensure a smooth supply of parts to the Maintenance team that meets contractual response times.
Goods In - Ensure that all products match the current system descriptions and that the quality of product delivered match what has been ordered and invoiced
Issue and receipt of loan tools and equipment to the DEL on request ensuring they have received the appropriate training and are authorised to do so.
Compliance with management of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) including the issue of correct and in date supporting documentation.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications:
To be educated to GCSE level in Maths and English. A NVQ2 Distribution Storehouse and Warehouse Operations or equivalent qualifications and a IOSH Working Safely qualification are desirable.
Experience:
Experience in maintenance/logistics environments with knowledge of inventory, warehousing and stock procedures. Administrative background preferred, ideally in logistics/maintenance. Basic Health and Safety understanding and excellent Microsoft Office skills required. Working knowledge of IFS would be advantageous
Skills:
Capable of manual handling with excellent attention to detail for accurate stock picking. Must recognise product codes, work effectively in a team, prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work independently whilst following procedures.
Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.*
