Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling materials, operating equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience and possess a strong work ethic, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Duties

Loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment, including forklifts Organising and storing stock in designated areas within the warehouse Operating warehouse management systems to track inventory movements Assisting with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring correct documentation Handling materials safely, including heavy lifting and manoeuvring large items Performing routine maintenance checks on mechanical equipment and tools Contributing to maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment Supporting stock counts and inventory audits as required

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse operations or related fields such as construction or materials handling Proficiency in operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic equipment issues Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving tasks Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and move around the warehouse effectively Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to warehouse environments
