Duties
Ordering materials, receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming deliveries to ensure proper documentation and quality standards.
Stock rotation, organize and store stock systematically to facilitate easy access and inventory control.
Prepare outgoing orders for operatives, by picking, packing, and verifying orders according to specified requirements. Picking up materials to/from site and suppliers.
Maintain detailed inventory records using manual logs or digital inventory management systems, using Sortly and Connecteam. Returning materials to storeroom brought back from site.
Stocktakes, conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly to uphold inventory accuracy.
Maintaining equipment, booking tools and plant in and out of storeroom, and keeping service records up to date.
Assist with general warehouse housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment at all times.
Requirements
Must hold a driving licence and be comfortable driving in city environments
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Experience of maintaining small plant and equipment is preferable but not essential.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and suppliers effectively.
Basic proficiency with inventory management software or willingness to learn new systems.
Commitment to safety procedures and workplace regulations.
