Key Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and organised store at all times
Operate forklift for loading/unloading and internal movement
Inspect, repair, and maintain cables, small and large plant
Offload deliveries and verify against purchase orders
Dispose of waste materials correctly and submit paperwork to office
Report delivery issues (shortfalls, damage, irregularities) to Contracts Managers
Liaise with Admin team regarding servicing of vans and plant
Keep PPE stock replenished and organised
Prepare materials, plant, and PPE for contracts as instructed
Store returned excess materials appropriately
Conduct quarterly stock checks and report to Financial Director
Identify and isolate out-of-date or damaged materials for disposal
Raise concerns related to Health & Safety, Quality, or Environmental issues
Use computer systems for basic reporting and inventory tasks
Requirements
Forklift licence (essential)
Experience in warehouse, construction, or industrial storekeeping
Basic mechanical knowledge (cables, plant maintenance)
Computer literacy
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and communicate with multiple departments
Must have a valid forklift licence.
Must live within 30 minutes of East Kilbride.
Available to work Mon-Thu 7am-3:30pm, Fri 7am-2:30pm
