Duties of the role;

Reporting and working closely with the National Stores Manager in the daily running of the stores environment to maintain the highest of standards.

Ensuring the maintenance (repairs and testing) of company plant and warehouse materials/equipment, inclusive of delivering and collecting materials from various sites across the southern region.

The candidate will also ensure that all company assets and materials are managed in accordance with the company stock control and purchasing procedures. You will also ensure monthly stock management is undertaken.

You will also engage and work with engineers to remove company assets and materials from site and return to the yard for maintenance, repair and re stocking.

Duties to include:

Opening the yard and office every morning Offloading and loading deliveries Stock Level Maintenance and return tracking Maintaining cleanliness and safety of stores, vehicles and yard Manage the strip out process in conjunction with the Regional Operational Team and the National Stores Manager Preparing and collating material and/or plant kits/requisitions for dispatch Driving and deliveries Maintaining, repairing and testing company equipment and small plant Monthly Stock checks Vehicle inspections / checks & Basic maintenance. Vehicle cleaning Van replenishments

Requirements:

Current CSCS card Clean driving licence Construction industry experience desirable Manual labour is part of this role therefore good physical ability is required Previous fabrication / maintenance experience would be advantageous Electrical experience desirable but not essential FLT License desirable but not essential Basic IT skills (word/excel)

The Role:

27 Hours a week Days of work to be agreed Stock Check One Saturday per month 8am to 1pm Additional Hours available Salaried position 17142 pa Pension
