Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Storeman/Woman/Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the store environment, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organised workspace.

Duties

Load and unload goods from vans/lorries using appropriate materials handling equipment. Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently. (beneficial but not essential) Maintain accurate records of inventory movements within the store management system. Carry out heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the Store area to promote a safe working environment. Collecting and delivering equipment/material to site Any other tasks as required

Qualifications

Previous experience in a store/warehouse setting is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with materials handling equipment, including forklifts, is advantageous. but not essential Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with basic maintenance of equipment. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.83-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
