We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable individual to join our busy materials team in Dyce. The Storeperson will support the business by effectively processing and managing stock and materials in accordance with Company procedures to meet demand.

Principal Duties

Issue and receive stock items ensuring that stock accuracy is maintained at all times Ensure the tasks that assist with the maintenance of stock accuracy are carried out in accordance with company procedures and that relevant authorisation has been given prior to changes being made Perform accurate kitting of parts for manufacturing in a timely manner Perform goods-in and goods-out tasks and transactions relating to the receipt and despatch of goods Deliver and collect parts and materials to/from Metrol sites and externally as required Perform routine and ad-hoc stock checks Ensure the security of the stores and stock within is maintained at all times

Required Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a stores or materials role, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing company Experienced in using stock management database systems and MS Office applications Experienced in picking, packing and despatching goods Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills Valid UK driving license Secondary education including English and Maths at Grade C or above

Howe Moss Pace, Kirkhill Industrial Estate, Dyce, Aberdeen.

Working Hours

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8.00am-4.00pm. Due to its nature, this will be a site-based role.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
