Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the safe and timely handling of materials and products. Responsibilities

Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, including forklifts where qualified. Manage inventory through accurate recording and updating within the warehouse management system. Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations. Operate mechanical equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods around the warehouse. Assist in organising stock storage areas to optimise space utilisation. Participate in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring correct documentation is maintained. Conduct routine maintenance checks on mechanical handling equipment. Support with general warehouse duties, including cleaning and organising work areas.

Qualifications

Proven experience working within a warehouse environment is preferred. Valid forklift licence an advantage desirable. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Strong materials handling skills with knowledge of safe lifting techniques. Mechanical knowledge or experience in construction or related fields is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Good organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment. This role requires a proactive individual committed to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency within our warehouse operations.

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
