Storeperson/forklift Driver
Job Description
Antone Displays Ltd are leading manufactures and installers of high-quality retail displays. We're growing and looking for a talented Storeperson to join our workshop team in Leicester.
What you'll do
Check delivery of materials from suppliers and inspect for damage, defects and discrepancies.
Ensure the deliveries are recorded accurately on the materials system against the relevant Purchase Orders.
Occasionally operate forklifts to unloading materials from vehicles.
Liaise, organise and allocate the materials to the different jobs sometimes using a pallet truck.
Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and with internal departments regarding lead times.
Organise and hire for transport and deliveries.
Ensure hired vehicles are adequately signed off upon off hiring.
Ensure company vehicles are road worthy and vehicle use is recorded.
Arrange for waste collections.
General Housekeeping - Keeping the stores clean and tidy.
Any other duties as deemed appropriate
What you'll bring
Experience in computer systems & Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel

A keen eye for detail and able to multitask. A proactive attitude. Attention to detail. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Proven experience as a warehouse operative. Driving Licence. Forklift Licence - Desirable.Hours & pay
Full time
(42 hours/week) Mon-Thu:7:00am-4:00pm
Fri:6:00am-2:30pm
Salary:
Depending on experience (DOE)Overtime:
Available during busy periodsChristmas Closures
