Loch Lomond Golf Club is one of the world's finest private members golf clubs. It sits on the "bonnie bonnie banks" of Loch Lomond, amidst breathtaking scenery but within easy reach of Glasgow and Stirling. Some work here permanently to develop a career in golf and hospitality, some work only seasonally across the busy summer months, while others work part time and flexibly around personal commitments or studies. Scope of the Role





Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will oversee the day to day operation of Goods Receiving and Stores. You'll supervise the purchasing, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring accurate stock levels and compliance with company procedures as well as providing hands on support working with your small team of 2-3 stores assistants (dependant on the time of year).


In your role your typical duties and responsibilities will be:





Order and manage transactions and stock levels via our systems.



Checking and unloading of incoming deliveries.



Inspect against delivery notes and purchase orders.



Managing of discrepancies or returns.



Oversee accurate recording of all stock received into the inventory management system .



Monitoring stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving items.



Conduct or support regular stock takes and cycle counts.



Maintain a safe, clean, and organised store layout for efficient stock retrieval.



Ensure all goods are labelled, stored, and issued correctly according to HACCAP requirements and Club procedures.



Implement FIFO/LIFO stock management methods where relevant.



Supervise stores assistants, training, allocating work, vehicles and logistics, monitoring performance, and maintaining high productivity.



Work with operational teams to ensure efficient support provided.



Security of stock and stores and controlling access.


TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL NEED:




NVQ/SVQ in Warehousing, Logistics or Procurement or CIPS qualification or equivalent, or equivalent experience Experience of supervising others in a similar role and environment to ours Competent in the use of IT, and knowledge of purchasing softwear eg Procure Wizard Strong time management and ability to prioritise Excellent organisational skills and ability to influence and implement processes A great team player Ability to drive is essential, with HS/Food Safety qualifications an advantage
