Job Description

We are a specialist coatings company working predominately within the manufacturing, construction, water and food industries, looking to expand our team by the introduction of a Maintenance & Warehouse Technician.

You will need to be a hardworking individual, who is practical, flexible and has the ability to overcome problems as they arise, finding solutions in a timely manner. With the right aptitude, there will be the opportunity for further progression.

Working hours - Monday to Friday 9am-5pm - 30 mins for lunch

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for Returns Bay Area, ensuring all items are booked back into stock, using our Stock System (Planergy). Ensuring all items are returned to correct stores location. Working with Warehouse & Maintenance Techinican, to ensure all equipment returned to Returns Bay, is PAT Tested, before returning to appropriate storage container. To issue PPE (and label with initials) to individual lockers as per PPE requests and report any special requests to Fleet & Project Support Co-ordinator. To move stock items and equipment to Project Bays as requested by Project Managers, for collection by the Site teams. Process all stock movements within our Stock System (Planergy), including but not limited to Consumables, PPE, Materials, Fuel. Check actual stock levels against the Stock System to ensure system is accurately reflecting stock levels and report any variances to Fleet & Project Support Co-ordinator. Keep all stock tidy and stored in the locations designated ensuring correct labels are displayed and items such as diesel decanted/replenished when stock levels determine. Any other Planergy Tasks that may be required. To carry out vehicle checks and some minor maintenance on company vehicles. Carry out pick ups and drop off of vehicles for repairs. Driving to site to deliver materials as and when required. General maintenance of yards, including managing skip exchanges & keeping yard tidy and clear of weeds. Ensure Health & Safety Compliance at yard. Report any H&S issues tor improvements to Fleet & Project Support Co-ordinator. Keep waste product under control and keep Fleet & Project Support Co-ordinator updated with levels so they can be collected for safe disposal. Carry out PAT testing as required. Work collaboratively and support other team members as required. Any other reasonable duties as required.

Shared Duties

Escort deliveries, ensure goods delivered are checked against delivery note and recorded (GRN) on Stock System. Provide cover for colleague's absences.

Required Experience/Qualifications:-

Clean Driving License essential PC and iPad knowledge essential Previous warehouse experience desirable
