Stores Assistant
Job Description
Pyroban Limited, are the world leader in hazard protection engineering, we are looking for a Stores Assistant at our engineering and manufacturing facility in Shoreham, West Sussex.
You will be a central part of the Stores team, relied upon to ensure that stock is replenished, parts are available at all times to both internal departments and external customers, undertake kit picking and warehouse organisation, managing charging cycles of industrial batteries, sometimes building crates and using a lifting crane to pack heavy engine parts, being mindful of Health & Safety at all times.
We are looking for someone with a stable work history, who is reliable, conscientious, able to use your own initiative and problem solving skills, physically fit, able to lift and move heavy items, and use an electric pallet stacker, ideally a holding Forklift licence.
Experience & Knowledge
Kanban stock replenishments. Previous experience of working in a warehousing environment. Basic IT skills specifically Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook. Good communication skills. Good interpersonal skills.
Working hours are 0815-1700 Monday to Thursday and 0815-1245 Fridays.
