This role requires an individual to control the company's stores system at the Bembridge site. The Stores controller will ensure the stores area is of a high standard in accordance with ISO and CAA regulations. They will be responsible for receiving in goods with their documentation. The role requires liaison with the company's production team and program controllers to Pick and appropriately pack items for shipment to internal customers. They are responsible for monitoring stock levels of consumable stores and packaging material and notifying the procurement team to replenish stock.###
Key Responsibilities
It's imperative that all material and components are received undamaged, in the correct quantity and accompanied by correct release documents. Any Item that does not comply with those requirements are to be placed in quarantine until the discrepancy is resolved. Liaise with the, procurement team and Program control to resolve any discrepancy found with Material and components delivered.
Items that are received must conform to the purchase order requirements, then be processed through our MRP system (Aerotrac) and store them in the appropriate location. You are to correctly label the items with shelf location and shelf life. The stores controller is to make accurate entries into the database system and the incoming paperwork is filed in an organised fashion.
You will authorise stores administrators to produce relevant delivery paperwork, including producing and signing certificate of conformities. Incoming documentation is to be archived in an easily accessible area.
You are to keep the stores area secured and not to allow unauthorised employees access to stores. Lock up the stores area each evening prior to departure.
The stores area is to be kept tidied and maintained to a high standard in accordance with CAA and ISO regulations.
Packaging material and general consumable stock are to be monitored and then contact procurement team to reorder as required.
You are from time to time to assist the production team in Hangar movements and assisting in loading and unloading of equipment or components.
Running weekly stock safety shortage reports and physical checks of the Inflammable store to ensure stock levels do not full below the minimal requirement. Report any deficiencies to the procurement team

Maintaining stock of consumable items for the productive operators to complete their tasks.
Regular review and maintenance for the safety stock report in conjunction with the shop supervisor.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
3 years relative stores experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to a wide range of people at all levels within the business.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Full UK driving licence required.
Ability to achieve a UK security clearance.
Desirable - Fork lift driver
