We are seeking a proactive and organised Stores Controller to support our team by managing and maintaining stock levels across our Hotel. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and experience in stock control or inventory management within a hotel, restaurant, or similar environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop versatile skills in a dynamic setting, contributing directly to the smooth and efficient running of our operations.

Responsibilities

Accurately manage stock levels across all departments, ensuring timely replenishment of supplies Conduct regular stock checks and audits, reporting discrepancies promptly Maintain up-to-date records of deliveries, transfers, and usage in line with company procedures Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth stock flow and resolve issues efficiently Support cost control initiatives through effective inventory management and waste reduction Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in all storage areas Implement process improvements for stock replenishment, organisation, and safety procedures Maintain a clean, safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations

Skills

Previous experience in stock control, inventory, or warehouse management (hospitality experience preferred) Strong organisational and communication skills Competence with stock management systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stocking and merchandising tasks Good communication skills for collaborating across teams involved in supply chain activities

Pay: 13.80 per hour
