Job Overview
To manage and control the movement of stock/raw materials in and out of the department and co-ordinate all deliveries to the respective areas.
Responsibilities
Goods in for raw materials, parts and office/equipment.
Checking delivery matches with PO.
Check Tensile & Chemical Analysis is done.
Book material into the system and manually store in designated locations.
Managing stock levels.
Receiving, checking and distributing goods-in and finished goods.
Picking orders for production.
Updating inventory management systems regularly.
Carry out stock takes.
Relocation of goods using forklift as necessary.
Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies.
Pre-cut billets in readiness for production using CNC saw.
Collections/deliveries to local suppliers or sub-contractors.
In depth dimensional checks of machined parts.
Requirements
Education Level - College Math's and English.
Experience - Engineering/Manufacturing experience needed, but not essential
IT knowledge - MS Office and experience of ERP systems
In-house training will be provided
Minimum 2 years' experience within a similar role
Full UK driving license
