About the role:
We are currently recruiting for a Stores Graduate with an Engineering, Mechanical or Supply Management qualifications who will work within Stores and with our team of mechanical and electrical engineers.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day movements of the Engineering stock on-site for all Electrical and Mechanical Components. A key part of this role involves keeping the stores rooms in a well presented and safe condition while maintaining audit-compliant conditions. All parts movements are logged so that spares can be found and traced quickly when needed.
Other key responsibilities will include:
Processing order requests
Receiving deliveries
Identifying new or existing parts for data entry and ordering
Issuing stock to the manufacturing team
Adherence to the company's audit compliance process
Preparation of service kits
Assisting with data entry on assets, locations and critical spares
Assisting and standing in for the Stores Manager in the purchasing and stock control systems being used within the Business as required.
Administration of the Engineering Stores currently utilising QuickBooks
Ensure all COSHH and Food Safety documentation relating to machinery and parts are maintained and up to date for both internal and external audit purposes
Managing all items of Consignment Stock whether provided in house or through externally agreed supplier
Arranging transport and shipping of Engineering parts and stock worldwide as required.
Delivering stock to customers
Other duties that may be required by the various Team Leaders or Manufacturing Planner. These duties would be based on the capability and experience of the candidate. Training will be given where required.
