Job Description

AirX Jet Support is a trusted leader in high-quality aviation maintenance services, committed to ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our fleet. We are now looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Stores & Logistics Material Controller to join our team at our Stansted-based MRO facility.

Role





The Stores & Logistics Material Controller will report to the Supply Chain Manager. The purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient management, storage, and flow of materials and parts required to support aircraft maintenance activities.



This includes maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing the receipt and dispatch of goods, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations.



The role also supports the reduction of downtime by ensuring timely availability of materials and tools for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.

What will you do:





Goods Inspection and Receipt of incoming goods in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Picking and Issuing Aircraft Parts, Consumables and Tooling for Maintenance activities. Arranging Goods Dispatch in accordance with company procedures and ATA300 specification standard. Maintaining accurate Inventory by monitoring stock levels, shelf-life control, and stock counts. Controlling of Tooling and maintaining Calibration standards. Ensuring material handling and storage conditions are maintained in accordance with Manufacturers and/or regulation standards. Ensuring that the control and disposal of Hazardous waste products are in line with COSHH environmental regulations. Producing Purchase Orders and Repair Orders for the department, where required. Upholding Stores quality and housekeeping standards. Operating Counterbalance Forklift. Constantly seeking to continuously improve to maximise productivity and minimise cost. Ensuring the best level of service is offered and maintained for both internal and external customers. Performing other duties and responsibilities as determined by your manager and/or the Company.


Who are we looking for:




Previous experience in Aviation Stores and Logistics. (Preferred) Experience with logistics and import/export Regulations. (Preferred) Understanding of the relatable EASA & CAA Regulations. (Preferred) Dangerous Goods Awareness. (Preferred) Counterbalance Forklift License. (Preferred) Full clean UK Driving License. Flexible working different shift patterns as determined by the Company. Right to work in the UK.
