Store & Mobile Field Technician
to join our growing team. This is a varied role combining
head office store management
,
regional stock support
, and
mobile field technician duties
.
You will be primarily based at our
Rochester head office stores
, ensuring stock levels, equipment, and facilities are maintained to a high standard, with regular travel to regional stores across the UK (Edinburgh to Bristol) with possible overnight stays. When store activity allows, you will also support our
mobile field operations
, working on customer sites across the UK.
No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Store & Head Office Responsibilities
Managing company stores and maintaining accurate stock levels
Replenishing stock at regional stores (UK-wide travel required)
Performing basic maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
Carrying out
PAT testing
at the main store and regional locations
Arranging cleaning of company equipment and items required by staff
Ensuring stores and equipment are organised, safe, and operational
Mobile Field Technician Responsibilities
(When store duties do not require attention)
Performing maintenance on parcel locker systems and ATMs
Carrying out technical cleaning in Data Centres and Communications Rooms
Auditing customer equipment
Completing site visit reports and client documentation
Representing the company professionally at customer-facing sites
Working independently or as part of a small team on client locations
What We're Looking For
You'll need to be reliable, well-organised, and confident working both independently and with others. This role involves sensitive sites, so certain background checks are essential.
Essential requirements:
A full UK driving licence (essential)* Passport and UK work authorisation (essential)*
Full 5-year
UK residency and employment history (essential)* Strong organisational and communication skills
Basic IT literacy (training provided)
Willingness to undergo a DBS check and obtain Government SC clearance within 2-6 months of starting (we'll guide and support you through the process)
Experience in a similar role is a plus, but not essential -- full training and all necessary equipment will be provided, including uniform and a company vehicle.
