Tradelink Direct is one of the UK's largest fabricators of PVC-U and aluminium Windows, Doors and Conservatories. As one of the industry's leaders, we offer our loyal customer base, a one stop shop, providing all their product needs from one place, whether it be standard white PVC, coloured foiled variations or even a timber alternative range.

We are recruiting a stores operative to join the team in Mildenhall, Suffolk.

This is varied role in a fantastic team environment which offers the opportunity to make a difference to our business.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work in a busy environment, use their own initiative, provide exceptional levels of customer service, and push to go the extra mile.

This is a Monday to Friday position predominately working 0600-1500hrs. Salary will be discussed at interview stage.

Main requirements of the role

The role exists to assist with certain aspects of the department's daily routines which are mainly driving a Forklift, unloading deliveries, checking product has been received and maintaining stock levels, along with the completion of related documentation on a daily basis.

When performing any task related to work undertaken in Stores it is in accordance with company policy, procedure, standard operating procedure and health and safety policy.

Undertaking duties as a forklift truck driver.

Unloading deliveries and checking items received.

To ensure that factories are supplied with stock and top up as necessary.

Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately daily.

Undertake all related housekeeping duties to ensure the stores areas are clean and tidy.

Undertake other related tasks within the department as instructed

Person Specification

Must demonstrate a strong sense of operational focus.

Excellent verbal, and good basic standard of written, communication skills.

Self-motivated and systematic.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Commitment to continuous improvement.

Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.

A reasonable standard of physical fitness to work with loads.

A Counter balance / Moffat FLT Licence.
