JOB TITLE: Stores Operative



JOB LOCATION: Coalisland



TERMS: Permanent, full time



THE JOB



The Stores Operative is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, equipment, and products within the warehouse or stores environment. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and supports smooth operational flow across departments. The Stores Operative works closely with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure materials are available when required and that all stock movements are accurately recorded in line with company procedures and health & safety standards.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?



Accurate administration of stock control systems Taking receipt of goods, ensuring quantities and quality Assigning parts / items to appropriate people and tracking of same Stock taking Effective and efficient using warehouse equipment (FLT/ Reach truck) Ensure stock is handled and stored appropriately so that no damage occurs Completing vehicle checks Ensuring the store is kept tidy and equipment is accessible Operating a counterbalance forklift to offload goods Completion of paperwork Adherence to all Health and safety practises

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?



Previous experience in Stores / Warehouse role Proficient IT skills Valid/Clean Drivers Licence Strong Communication Skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work without supervision Excellent time management skills Strong prioritisation and organisation skills Fork lift license is advantageous, but not essential.
