Windracers are looking to welcome a new role into our team to support our ever increasing manufacturing growth. We are looking for an experienced stores person with a background in manufacturing to join the team as our business scales up.



Applicants must be prepared to be security vetted to BPSS level.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive goods and materials accurately/efficiently via Goods Inwards process. Process all goods receipt documentation including scanning; deal with booking in problems with purchasing and ensure nonstock orders are delivered to individuals. Ensure that all stock is stored correctly and is labelled and packed appropriately to ensure it is easily identifiable and free of contamination/damage. Pick work orders in relation to picking lists, ensuring excellent levels of accuracy. Perform general physical activities in stores area such as loading, unloading, sorting, cleaning and stock movements. Follow manual handling guidelines for physical stock movements ensuring appropriate lifting equipment is used where appropriate. Ensure that the stores area and yard is organised, clean, safe and stock is located appropriately. Support the processing of waste management for all packaging. Maintain high levels of stock accuracy and report any stock discrepancies to the Logistics Manager. To undertake any other duties as appropriate within their competence, as required by their Head of Unit from time to time.

Essential skills

Proven experience as a Stores Operative in a manufacturing environment. Basic computer literacy and numeracy skills. Basic Microsoft Excel to find and update information in data tables. ERP/MRP systems to transact inventory movements.

Desirable skills

Forklift licence is desirable but not essential. * Experience in Goods-In Quality inspection.
