POSITION SUMMARY

Lawmax Mechanical & Electrical Contractors Limited are looking for a Stores Operative to manage and organise a small busy stores within our Electrical Contracting business based in Stapleford, Nottingham.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet deliveries as they arrive at the store. Maintain good order, including organising deliveries, returns, collectons and emptying the waste daily. Ensure all trip hazards are clear of walkways in the stores and in the car park. Ensure that all fire fighting equipment is accessible and in good working order. Booking out of all hire vehicles including signatures every time they leave the office. Booking out of all plant including signatures for every time they leave the office. All materials need to be booked out of the stores on an allocation sheet. Safety boots and hi-vis jackets must be worn at all times when in the stores. Monthly and weekly fire checks are to be carried out as required. Comply with all safety and security policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and tidy car park and stores area. Work together with team members to achieve common goals. A full clean driving licence is essential.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Previous electrical knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.
Good organisational skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, customers and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour
