Job Description

A new varied role as a Stores operative is required to start immediately. This is a new role to the company which combines multiple and varied tasks to assist withe the organisation of the warehouse and assist with our logistics operation.

Stores Operative responsibilities include handling all incoming and outgoing stock as required. Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse and organising locations for storage of stock. Additional to this we require the successful candidate to assist our logistics team with the delivering of stock to customers in one of our Luton vans when required.

To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with stock handling, inventory and supply chain processes and procedures and have good communication skills to interact with delivery partners, customers, internal teams and management.

Ultimately, you will increase the company's profitability and effectiveness by maintaining an efficient warehouse and provide a timely service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities



Unloading Deliveries and Containers of Materials, parts and sales orders

Oversee bin locations, storage of products, parts and consumable items

Picking Job Stock Orders and Sales Orders, booking out, packing and despatching

Picking Stock Kits

Van stock counts

Quality Control of all Goods In and Goods out

. Delivering to customers in Luton Van

. Making local collections from suppliers

Requirements and skills



Proven work experience as a stores operative, or similar role in a Stores/Warehouse environment

Good understanding of supply chain, stock control, warehouse processes and procedures

Excellent organization skills

Good communication and time management

Stock Checks



Stock control which incorporates

Counting

Matching to electronic records

Counterbalance Forklift truck licence - Desirable

Pay: From 12.30 per hour
