Stores Operator
to help power our performance from the inside out.
This is more than just a warehouse role. You'll be part of a high-performing operations team, ensuring precision stock control, timely movement of goods, and supporting mission-critical workflows that directly influence service delivery.
The Role
As a
Stores Operator
, you'll manage the flow of stock through our site - booking in goods, replenishing local stocks, consolidating inventory, preparing kits for production, and maintaining order across the stores area. This is a hands-on, active role suited to someone who takes pride in organisation, enjoys physical tasks, and thrives in a structured environment.
You'll be an essential link between departments - working closely with production, customer service, purchasing, and warehouse teams - and a vital part of a business that values accuracy, reliability, and initiative.
What You'll Be Doing
Book in all goods (internal and purchased)
Perform testing and inspection of incoming stock
Replenish local stock bins daily
Issue requisitions from Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support production needs
Create and prepare kits for repair and customer orders
Manage reclaim stock processing for production, purchasing, and engineering
Move, allocate, and quarantine stock through internal systems
Maintain a clean, safe, and secure stores environment
Communicate any stock or operational issues to your team leader promptly
Uphold all quality and health & safety standards
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a warehouse, stores, or stock control environment
Excellent verbal communication and a collaborative team spirit
Strong organisational skills with a sharp eye for detail
Physically capable of performing regular lifting and manual handling
Proficient in using computers and inventory management systems
Calm under pressure, efficient, and proactive
Entry Requirements
MS Excel (Intermediate), Outlook, Word, Inventory Management systems
Must pass: Basic Criminal Record Check, Identity Check, Sanction Check, Credit Check
