Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Stores Person to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stores operations with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with staff, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of our work environment.
Responsibilities
Manage stock levels Operate materials handling equipment safely and efficiently. Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders. Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading deliveries. Execute picking and packing tasks accurately to fulfil staff requirements. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to achieve targets.
Skills
Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable. Proficiency in materials handling techniques, including heavy lifting. Experience with stock management practices. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate stock fulfilment. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service. Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff members. IT skills beneficial.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 21,000.00-25,500.00 per year
