Job Summary

We are seeking a organised individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ordering and receiving in parts for our busy Bodyshop, managing stock levels, and ensuring all our perishables are in date. This role offers an engaging environment for individuals interested in retail and logistics, with opportunities to develop skills in warehouse management systems and materials handling. The position is suitable for candidates with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to work. You must be very organised, have excellent time management and have a drive to succeed.

Duties

Create POs and order parts as required Identify and price parts for workshop Source Parts that may be on back order Identify where we can use green parts Manage stock levels through stocking, picking and inventory control Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (training provided) to handle materials safely and efficiently Support ordering & receiving processes, including loading and unloading goods using appropriate tools and techniques Use our management system to track all orders Maintain a clean, organised sales floor and warehouse area Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of daily tasks

Experience

Previous experience in Bodyshop/Mechanical stores is essential Experience in stock management, shipping & receiving, or heavy lifting tasks is desirable Able to use a management system to receive in orders and scan invoices on to jobs. Mathematical knowledge for pricing parts and ensuring discount levels are met. Background in vehicle repairs or mechanical knowledge can be beneficial for sourcing parts and components A proactive attitude and willingness to learn are most important

Pay: 27,040.00-33,280.00 per year
