We are looking for a
Stores Person
to join the team at our Stannah Branch in
Glasgow.
As a stores person, you will make sure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and products are processed through the delivery and warehouse system, efficiently and safely.
As the stores person you must be able to demonstrate you are organised and logical in your approach to work and hold a Counterbalance forklift licence.
This is a great role for an experienced individual to join Stannah, as part of a team. Ideally you will be highly motivated and be able to demonstrate that you can use Excel, Word and Outlook in the role of Stores Person.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 0800-1645 and Friday 0800-1545
Stores Person Responsibilities:
Stock control & quarterly stock takes (including engineers van stock)
Control of warranty and quarantined parts, returning to supplier
Maintaining stock levels
Compiling stock issues for reporting
Processing and dispatching parts orders
Processing of engineer's stock sheets
Creating purchase orders
Manual handling
Ordering of engineers PPE
Stores Person Requirements:
Good standard of numeracy and literacy
Forklift truck experience is required.
