Boat Electrics and Electronics is a trusted name in marine electrical and electronic systems, offering expert service and support to boat owners and marine professionals. We are expanding our Cowes branch and are looking for a reliable and motivated Stores Person to join our growing team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Stores Person to manage our stock, support our technical team, and ensure the smooth operation of our Cowes-based store. This is a hands-on role that requires both practical and administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, check, and organise incoming stock and deliveries Maintain accurate stock records using our computer systems Assist with inventory checks and stock control Ensure the store is kept tidy, well-organised, and compliant with safety standards Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding stock levels and orders Support engineers by preparing and issuing parts for ongoing jobs Occasionally assist with deliveries or collections locally

Key Attributes:

Some electrical knowledge is essential

- understanding of marine or general electrics will be a strong advantage

Good computer skills

- confident using inventory software and basic office applications

Excellent teamwork

- works well with colleagues in a fast-paced environment

Highly organised

- able to manage stock efficiently and keep accurate records

Strong communication skills

- comfortable interacting with suppliers, engineers, and customers

Flexible and helpful

- willing to assist in other areas of the business as needed
