To effectively manage the stores area of the branch. You will be checking, signing, and unloading deliveries from suppliers, carrying out stock takes, ordering stock, preparing goods for collection and delivery in line with company procedures. As well as arranging and preparing products in readiness for installations, you will serve trade and domestic customers processing orders for a variety of products. With training provided you will cut and prepare glass, mirror and door panels to specified sizes and process orders in line with company procedures.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:
Tier 2 Competencies:
1 Checking, signing for and stocking, supplier deliveries ensuring goods delivered match order confirmations at all times.
2 Checking and preparing a range of products due for installation or fabrication against the fitting or production schedule each week.
3 Preparing products and helping with loading of installation vans to minimise non-productive time.
4 Carry out accurate monthly stock takes.
5 Monitor stock levels for all stocked supplies, placing orders for replenishment as and when needed.
6 Process orders of goods in line with company procedures.
7 Cut to size and prepare for collection / delivery bespoke glass and plastic panel orders.
8 Maintaining and arranging products in a way to ensure maximum efficiency and use of space
9 Promote the company in a positive light at all times with a friendly, positive, customer focused attitude.
10 Proficient in the safe use of a fork lift truck.
11 Have a good understanding of basic health and safety and keep the stores safety compliant.
12 Ensure excellent standards of waste management keeping stores, skip and work areas, clean and clear of waste and debris.
13 Have good product knowledge, understanding and actioning care and attention to detail when moving, stacking, loading and delivering products.
14 Carryout deliveries as and when needed.
Tier 3 Competencies:
1 Able to monitor, record and track stock levels, adjusting quantities held according to market or business demand.
2 Communicate with suppliers direct and arrange replacements following incorrect or missing products from orders.
3 Placing orders for stock direct with suppliers including completion of all relevant company processes.
4 Cut and prepare glass including glazing and repair of customers products to a high standard.
KEY SKILLS
Forklift licence or experience advantageous
. Basic reading and writing skills.
Good housekeeping with a drive to maintain a clean, tidy, organised work area.

Able to multi-task and prioritise during busy periods.
Excellent organisational skills and good time keeping.
