We are currently expanding and have an exciting opportunity for an

experienced Picker/Packer

to join our

Warehouse Department

at our

Skelmersdale site

.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out ticketing, picking, packing, counting, housekeeping, and safety tasks Support internal quality audits Update and maintain company computer systems Pick vehicle parts accurately for shipment based on customer orders Ensure stock is correctly located within designated warehouse locations Match packed items with packing list information Pack and label stock using identification tags, stamps, or labelling equipment Report incorrect, missing, or short-shipped items to the Team Leader Inspect stock items for wear, defects, or quality concerns Process returned items promptly Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse and yard Dispose of waste appropriately using designated recycling bins Keep stock storage areas tidy and well organised Provide support to other departments when needed to ensure smooth operations

Skills & Experience

Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld devices Computer literate (full training on our internal systems will be provided) Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution or warehouse environment Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals Accurate data-entry skills with strong attention to detail

Desirable:

FLT Counterbalance licence and experience with high-level order picking
