Position

Reporting to: - Finishing Shop manager / Works Production manager or the head of purchasing

Hours: - 40hrs plus overtime when required

Job Summary To assist with the day to day running of the Stores goods inwards and stock control, ensuring that information related to the goods inwards and deliveries are accurate.

Occasional delivery and collection of product and materials.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving deliveries, components and materials from all suppliers. Kitting and issuing components and materials to the Shop Floor as specified by the Header sheet in a timely manner to meet manufacturing schedules. Goods inwards documentation checking, goods checking and acceptance of all deliveries to stock. Ensure all received stock is undamaged and that everything ordered is present and accounted for. Ensuring the appropriate team leader and Production Control are informed of low stock and other shortages which may require re-ordering in a timely fashion. Ensure all products are suitably packaged and that delivery service used is adequate to meet customer requirements. With the Management team, maintain a safe working environment within the Stores areas and all current Health and Safety legislation is observed. Including basic "house-keeping" in and around the stores area. Restocking returned materials back into stock circulation in a timely manner. Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company. Essential Good team worker interpersonal skills at all levels of the business. Logical reasoning, with a "can & will do attitude". Good organizational skills.

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
